Thunderstruck Update: December 16, 2013

The announcement is up and official on the Thunderstruck Website... we're back!

The reasoning is pretty simple, and it all relates to time. It's taking far longer than I expected to create a novelized version of Thunderstruck, and by the time I do get it into the world, the people who care about the story will have had to wait years to see what happens next. I don't want to wait that long.

I have time to do a more limited update schedule, and so that's what we'll do.

What I don't have much more time for is this blog post, but I'll answer questions about the return in the comments section. Anyway, we're back on, and the story will resume in January.

Saw someone talking about Thunderstruck coming back, I'd never heard of it so I gave it a quick look, then read the full archive. Loved what you've done so far and I'm eagerly waiting for more next month.

I'll be keeping an eye out for other work by you too.

Finally!
I've been waiting for any sign of life from Sharon and Gail since the creation of this blog.. and this is much more than that!

Can't wait to see them.. again... and I wonder what the Fylgia looks like...
wooooo!
And I want to see Gail kicking the ass of this annoying vampire.

Squee! Knew there was a reason we never moved the bookmark out of the Ace folder and into the Dead folder!

To quote a certain Marine in Starcraft 2? "It's about time." =^-^=

I'm glad to see your comic's return. And once the new Tangents site is up and running, I'll have to mention it. :)

Glad to see you back!

Something I've always wondered, what happens if you tell Gail "I am lying to you right now." Does she think you are telling the truth or not?

TiaC,

Oh, that would be terrible. Her brain would seize up, smoke would come out of her ears, and then she'd explode. Let us pray she never crosses paths with Captain Kirk.

No, seriously, she could brush that off as just a contradictory statement. Gail senses intent as much as anything else, though an accomplished deceiver (such as Grogan or Brouchard) can sometimes dance along the edge of the truth in ways she can't decipher with instinct alone. Someone who says "I am lying to you right now" has the intent of screwing with your head, and she could twig that pretty easily.
