Comic 726 -- Guardians of Annwn

Time for mythology and danger!

http://talesfromthevault.com/thunderstruck/comic726.html

I have to say, I've been looking forward to Sharon's adventures in the Exile World for a very long time. One of the big joys about coming back to Thunderstruck has been the chance to write and draw all the weird monsters, gods, and mythical lands Sharon encounters in her travels. Plus her airship.

Hope you enjoy these sequences as much as I do!

Just last month, Bella was telling the Steel Angels that they need to go see Naiah first, and now she's saying it's too dangerous? How is she intending for Sharon to meet the anchors?

Hi Douglas,

Bella really doesn't want this plan to come together at all. It suits her purpose better if Sax simply produces the harp and gives it a strum right now. So she's playing every angle she can to derail it from her current disadvantaged position.

If she could convince either side (Either Sharon or the Gail/Sax/Hayaka team) to stop chasing travelers and anchors, she wins. So she's going to take every opportunity to undermine their confidence in their quest, even while she reluctantly provides the information for it to move forward.

And she can't just lie because of Sharon.

"The jaws of peril". I see what you did there.
