It's been a pleasure I found this comic many, many years ago.
You've improved as artist and story teller and I hope to get to see you get this to a conclusion.

i kinda want to see more scenes of sharon and thrud just hanging out. like, i assume sharon's into thrud because she's super hot and jacked, but thrud doesn't seem...intellectually stimulating enough for sharon. or maybe sharon's always wanted a female himbo

I hear you. One of the consequences of shifting to a monthly delivery for the comic is that I feel the need to move the story along at a faster pace. I don't always figure out how to include character-focused moments like what you're talking about.
I'd say that Sharon doesn't really know what she wants in a romantic relationship. It's all new territory for her. And it's hard to see what a "normal" life would look like when you're racing from one dangerous situation to another. In Thrud, she's found attraction, then trust, and then intimacy.
What would a long-term version of this relationship look like? Neither of them knows, really. This is what they've got in the moment, and that will have to do.
