Curiously, I'm not what you'd call a devoted reader of vampire stories. It kind of surprised me that they ended up having such a role in Thunderstruck.
This is not to say I'm totally anti-vampire. I like how they're used in The Dresden Files, for instance. If anybody else has interesting vampire fiction they like, post a comment! I'd like to hear about what's good.

Hey, congrats on the book deal. I look forward to buying a copy for my son, though he may not be interested because it has nothing to do with Pokemon cards.
