I do enjoy the word "goon."
So the art in this one came out a little janky... still learning to work with the tablet. One of my particular gifts in learning a new piece of software is figuring out how to screw things up so you can't undo the error. I should keep a little sticker collection on my laptop, like a pilot racking up kills.
Still, I love the tablet, and I'm gonna get the hang of it in time.

So, Vigil owns the hospital. And Bella's been relying on them. Some tops are going be blown at high levels (archangel-vessel or not much lower) if and when the learn about that.
Security around the anchors has been:
Bella herself - concealment and her own native magic.
Saxony - nothing but his own magic and street smarts. That we've seen. So far...
Allerick Riddle - a ffylgia and an echo-ghost of his sister.
Danny Mah - horde of off-leash teaching spirits, maximum-security prison, alarm wards, and the threat of Vigil.
Emilia - the enemy's own hands.
Gail - some native magic, but mostly Bella being too rushed to arrange it and not expecting to need it for more than a few hours anyway.
Travelers:
Bertrand and Ginevra - staying on the move with some native magic. Details to be revealed later.
Naiah - asleep in Annwn under the Rhiannon songbirds.
Maxwell - petrified in a dragon's hoard.
Ingrid - drugged at the Mesoamerican ballgame.
Sharon - see above in the entry for Gail.
