But... but... but! If the Godhead is omniscient and omnipotent, why does it need to test? Wouldn't it already know whether the world and Vigil were good enough? And if they weren't, can it not only be that the Godhead deliberately and knowingly created them to not be good enough to succeed at the task it set for them?

I guess. Omniscience always seemed like a tough one to explain.
